Red Leaf Tea does not charge for shipping - no matter what size the order. They are also trying to build a worldwide collection of exotic and unique teas. These are both good things!
The dry ingredients of Peach Rooibos look the same as plain Rooibos tea, but smell more like a fruity pipe tobacco. This mixture was composed of Rooibos, peach and “other fruit bits.” I wish the Red Leaf Tea website had been a little more specific. What are those fruit bits? Based on the taste, I’m guessing orange, but anyone with food allergies would be well advised not to try this tea (or any other food with unknown ingredients).
I steeped the standard one teaspoon of tea in six ounces of water for four minutes. This produced a golden brown liquor that smelled more like peach than the dry ingredients did. The taste was smooth and sweet with a very subtle peach flavor. Definitely sweeter then plain Rooibos.
I tried drinking this beverage plain, with soymilk and with half and half. In none of these instances did I think in required honey - which is how I usually drink Rooibos tisanes. I enjoyed all three variations, but liked the half and half the best. While this isn’t my favorite Rooibos tea it was interesting and good enough to consider drinking a few times a month.

Think of a pure rooibos with a very small splash of peach liquer. That's fairly accurate when describing this blend. The flavor shuffles the rooibos to the side just a touch, so the texture isn't flawless, but it's close.
The peach scent is appropriate, smooth and slow but always around. The reason that the liquer suffix is attached is that it not only reflects that slightly syrupy adjustment, but it kicks the tea a little as well. I'm generally indifferent to the peach flavor itself, so I'm uncertain as to whether this is ideal for those seeking peach teas or not.
Altogether, it's a fine blend of rooibos. For my own tastes, it's a bit too far from the rooibos path or a bit too far from the fruit path. Rather than meeting in the middle, they meet somewhere underground or in a tree.
