I'm a huge fan of Red Leaf Tea for their quality, unique blends. I'm always looking to try something a little out of the ordinary, and Red Leaf Tea usually has just that. While this blend isn't the most "out-there" blend ever, it's certainly not run-of-the-mill, either. Red Leaf advertises it as "a thoroughly relaxing and soothing tea" that "offers a delicious blend of flowers, herbs, and spices, that all come together in a complex mixture of tastes that eases the mind and soothes the body." The flavor is indeed complex, but it's also very delicate; it's easy to miss the intricacies if sip too quickly. Because of this, I can see how this tea could be quite soothing; in order to really enjoy it, you're forced to slow down and really appreciate the depth of flavors. And how is the flavor, you ask? Quite good. Initially, it's surprisingly sweet (but still delicate) with a floral flavor, almost like cherry blossoms, and it finishes with just the slightest bit of spice in the aftertaste. No one flavor really stands out, blending them all together to create a unique and enjoyable flavor all its own. Bottom Line: Delicate and complex, this tea is best enjoyed slowly. If you prefer bolder flavors, you might want to steer clear of this one.
